day 80 of uncle david living with us goes as follows: wake up, take shower, go downstairs to eat breakfast, leave the kitchen because david is watching some vampire drama, get tabs for “dream on”, leave computer room, observe that the telly is off and david is no longer downstairs, hear sounds of david playing the xbox, play guitar, david is still on the x box, alex gets home, david on xbox, alex asks david if he can play xbox too*, alex leaves, david is still on x box, i iron my graduation gown thing, listen to music so i wont have to hear david playing xbox, write this, predict that david will be on the xbox for another hour or so till dinner. it has been 5 or 6 or maybe even 7 hours since david got on the xbox and he is still there. may the force be with us all.
* yes alex had to ask david if he could play his own xbox, and he still played multiplayer with david. alex is much nicer than me.
